Duke June 29 2015 with his hat on. |
I know abut that. Several years ago I was walking up someone dirt driveway and I was wearing flip flops and I stepped on a rock the wrong way. I ended up in the ER that night and tore my Achilles tendon and was in a soft cast for 6 weeks. Yes that is painful.
So he was doing fine not licking his toenail and we were giving his medications right on up until they ran out. Well it so happened that while we were sleeping he did lick that sore. It has already had a scab on it and was healing up really good until two days ago. I threatened him with [putting his hat on and it worked for a little while. Then Saturday morning I find that the scab is gone and it is all read now. Thank goodness that it is not bleeding and that I caught it in time. He now wears that hat all day and all night. I take it off for him to eat and drink and that is all for now. He is a trip, that is for sure. Got to keep on him about those things, you know.
A New Member Of "The Allen Belly Clan"
Sidney has now been her for 6 months. He now has a foot fetish with me. He never had it before. Every time that I take my shoes off he has to smell and taste my toes, my ankles and my whole foot. That is strange and I have never had a cat do that to me.
Little Bits, Charlie, Shadow, and Sunshine |
Charlie will bit my fingers when we go to bed and he snuggles and wants loving at bedtime. LOL I have to hid my fingers under my pillow or under the blankets. He's is just a love bug.
After anyone in this house has gotten some surgery on the belly or near to it we have all grown a fat belly. The girls, Shadow, Sunshine and Little Bits grew theirs about 6 months after their spaying operation. The boys, still around, Mikey got his belly at about the same time after he got neutered.
The new cat that is now our, Frederick, is not fixed and he is skinny, but looks and sounds healthy. That will be until we get him neutered in about two months.
Sidney is the one that has joined the ranks of "The Allen Belly Clan". He has been here six months and he didn't get it for about four months and then it seemed like overnight he got the belly.
So we welcome Sidney in the Allen Belly Clan!
